Not enough water

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this b/c I thought it would be a good lightweight option for my shorter runs, and b/c I have the Osprey Duro vest which is awesome for hiking. This barely holds any water - 3 large sips and it's drained. It also leaked water pretty badly. I would use your money to buy something larger like the Nathan Speedmax Plus 22 oz. I initially thought the Nathan product would be too heavy when filled, but I ended up not finding it that cumbersome.

Just Enough

I bought this for my girlfriend as she doesn't like to carry a pack on trail runs. This bottle gives her just enough fluid to carry her through. She also likes the secure yet comfortable grip.

    Gets you over the hurdle

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I don't love running while holding onto anything, but as my mileage crept up, I needed something for those longer runs. This was just enough water, and the ergonomic fit makes hanging onto it a non issue. The pocket is pretty small, and wouldn't hold much more than a gel pack, but still a nice feature.

Great little handheld for short runs. Fits well on the wrist and hardly notice its there, once you get used to the palm design. Pouch holds a key, and/or gel.
