Hard soles, thin uppers

These shoes do not provide enough grip on the pedals for serious mountain biking. Also, on one of the first rides the upper snagged on a pin on my pedal and ripped all along the side - the material is very fragile. The fastening system is great though and they are comfortable. They could be an ok shoe if you are using them for road biking but they are not durable or performance oriented

Nice flat pedal shoes at a good price

I got these for a flat pedal mountain bike to do trails and gravel. They fit well and the soles are not torn up by the spikes on the pedals. They are comfortable and the ratchet lace works well. They have gone through dust and mud and cleaned up with a wet rag. Nice shoes.
