Mavic trusts a traditional seamed upper construction complete with airy mesh paneling throughout to provide a mix of durability and breathability when you're on the trails. The upper is secured by an Ergo Ratchet backed up by two hook-and-loop straps to ensure you're able to achieve a secure, slim fit across the top of your foot. Securing the foot goes beyond comfort, though, as reducing slopping slippage also increases power transfer efficiency.
