Bullet Helmet

We're usually faced with a dilemma when shopping for a new road helmet. Do we go with the lightweight, well-vented version that'll help keep our heads cool on long summer training rides or do we reach for an aero version that will help us with marginal gains on race day? With Lazer's Bullet helmet, you get to have your cake and eat it too.

Where ventilation and aerodynamics are almost mutually exclusive, Lazer created an ingenious solution to let you choose which version you want on the fly. With its narrow shape, small frontal area, and (with the Airslide down) closed shell, the "bullet" shape is aerodynamically verified in the wind tunnel. Move the Airslide system up, though, and additional vents improve airflow to prevent you from overheating as you tackle climbs on hot training days where covering the miles in comfort is more important than covering them at top speed. In the same vein, the Airslide design works well in the winter in the down position when you want to keep cold air out.

Further improving aerodynamics on the rear of the helmet, Lazer employs a new adjustable fitting system dubbed ATS, a new interpretation of the classic Turnfit system. ATS combines the traditional Turnfit dial system on the back of the head with the Rollsys head basket, creating an even more effective retention system. The dial now controls a basket that grips a larger portion of the head, and with a quick turn of the ATS dial, a snug yet comfortable fit keeps the helmet firmly in place.

The Bullet is fully compatible with Lazer's LifeBEAM technology (to measure your heart rate) and the Inclination Sensor (to monitor your head position on the bike and further improve aerodynamics).
