Roubion Carbon S Mountain Bike

The Juliana Roubion lets us saddle up knowing we can tackle anything the mountain throws at us. This 150mm trail bike struts mixed-wheel sizes, giving us the quick-rolling confidence of a 29er up front, and the precise maneuverability of a 27.5in wheel out back. Like all Julianas, the Roubion is tuned for lighter weight riders than its Santa Cruz counterpart, the Bronson. Sporting a Carbon C frame construction, this iteration of the Roubion perfectly blends lightweight performance with durability so we don't have to worry about what we're going to run into on the trail. The mixed wheel set up gives us a bike that's nimble in the corners but rolls through massive rock gardens all day long. 150mm of VPP rear travel and lower anti-squat values to help enhance the bike's traction and overall smoothness. The longer and slacker geometry ensures that the bike remains playful even with the bigger wheel up front and provides tons of stability at speed. At the same time, size specific chainstay lengths allow every size rider to have the same balanced feel and fit. And thanks to the super efficient VPP suspension, we actually find ourselves wanting to pedal up for a second, definitely rowdier lap.

The Juliana Roubion Carbon S kit builds off of the reliable SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain offering crisp shifting in just about any trail conditions, while suspension duties are taken care of by a solid combination of a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock for 150mm of responsive rear travel and 160mm Fox 36 Float Performance fork so we can crush through high-tech, gnarly terrain with confidence. A pair of bombproof Race Face AR Offset 30 wheels are laced to reliable DT Swiss 370 hubs for worry-free performance in gnarly terrain, while a set of SRAM Code R brakes help us stop on a dime when things get out of hand. The Juliana Roubion Carbon S Mountain Bike is the perfect one-bike quiver for everything from days spent hitting step-ups at the bike park to chasing the top spot of the podium of our local enduro race. Note that the size-extra small Roubion is built with two 27.5in wheels to better suit smaller riders.
