Ibis Hi-Fi Carbon Handlebar $120.00
Light and comfortable — just how it should be.
Carbon has solidified itself as the handlebar material of choice for most competitive riders and XC racers, as it's both lightweight and durable. Additionally, carbon absorbs vibration incredibly well, meaning that the fatigue and numbness that sets in with aluminum is effectively soaked up over long hours of riding.
Strong enough for huge hits and giant drops, but still light enough for XC racers, the Hi-Fi Carbon Handlebar from Ibis handles it all with ease. The bar represents the fine balance between weight and strength, coming in at just around 225 grams in a 760mm width. At the same time, the wide stance provides flexible comfort in the dirt, and the 20 degrees of rise keeps your wrists in a relaxed, neutral position.
The Ibis Hi-Fi Carbon Handlebar is available in a 740mm width. The bars feature 20mm of rise and are available in the color Black. Please note that this bar is only compatible with 31.8mm clamp diameter stems.
Claimed weights are provided by the vendor.

Description says 740mm, specs say 760mm, drop down menu says 800mm. What is it?
Stiff bars for Trail/All Mountain rippin
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've been using Speciaized aluminum bars for some time and figured it was a time for an upgrade. These fit the bill perfectly in terms of rise and width. There weren't a ton of 31.8mm bars that were long and beefy enough without being absurdly expensive. Paired it with Spank Spoon 40mm stem.
-I didn't weigh the aluminum bars vs these, but I know it dropped a bit of weight with it.
-Bars are stiff
-I like Ibis' lowkey graphics and design.
-760mm is the perfect happy medium width in my opinion, especially with a shorter stem. Anything much wider than that I'd probably cut down anyway.
-Have only ridden with them for a few times now. I'll report back if I find any.
Not the lightest.. but
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Moderately light, strong, and wide. What's not to like? I've been riding these for a month now on a Yeti SB95c. They're great. Same rise/sweep as the easton's yet wider.
