Very comfy and great placement of gel

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

They flex very well and aren't too tight in between the fingers like many half-fingered gloves are. Additionally, even the palms seem to have great ventilation while still feeling secure and with ample padding in the right areas in case I go down.

My major complaint... wtf is up with the tag? Comon guys, there is no good excuse to attach a tag of this size to a glove this small. Why???

Very comfy and great placement of gel

Best short bike gloves

Best short bike gloves that I have ever had. They fit well and the gel padding is in the right place.

    Better than most..

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XXL

As said in other posts, these run small so order one size larger than normal. The finger pulls work well for quick removal. The thin backs shed heat and the palms are nicely padded. I like them a lot. Great deal when on sale.

    Nice gloves!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Didn't really need half finger gloves but grabbed a pair when I saw the price for $22. Love the slip-on style, don't like Velcro gloves because the snatch the jersey when getting things from rear pockets and can't wash them together with anything. Very functional design and Good choice of materials throughout the gloves, breatheable material in the palm, reflective band on the back plus 2 reflective pull-tabs and sweat wiping fleece around the thumb. Fits nicely in Europian sizes

    Lasted for one week

I'll start by saying. I love all other Gore Bike Wear products I've purchased. After going through a pair of Castelli gloves due to a crash during my last crit race, I decided to buy these Xenon 2.0 gloves. They are very comfortable, good looking, and easy to take off. Unfortunately, the backs of the gloves that have the reflective striping on them are not stitched, but glued on. I wore the gloves for six 30+ mile rides and on the sixth day one of the gloves separated along the glued seam about an inch. Nothing torn, just looks like the glue stopped holding the two pieces of fabric together.

The gloves are done. It's a shame because I thought they were awesome initially.

    Robust lasting quality

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Like others I have gone through a number of brands and frankly my existing pair which are 1.5 years old and done 2000 km's of sweaty-palmed riding in Singapore, are perfectly fine. The only 'wear' to talk about it the reflective 3M material on the pull-tabs have come off - big deal. When I saw the white ones at $22 I jumped for a another pair in reserve :-)

    Worthy Gloves

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XXL

Having mowed through a lot of gloves (Specialized, Mavic, Castelli, etc.), I was attracted by the Gore Brand. These gloves do not disappoint. I have large hands and thought the XXL would fit, and while the fit is snug, I think I should have gone with the 3XL. No worries though as the glove now fits comfortably. Pull tabs rock when I remember to use them. A lot of nice touches, worthy of the price. Need more Gore products . . .

    Runs Small

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

These gloves felt light, sturdy and had supple padding around the palm areas. Unfortunately, they ran a bit small so it was a struggle to get my hands in them. I would recommend sizing them up before purchasing.

    Unanswered Question

Love the specs of this glove, and the whole...

Love the specs of this glove, and the whole Xenon line, but, they don't offer this glove for ladies for whatever reason!

Any Ladies tried this glove yet? How was the fit?

My 'un-swollen pre-ride hand measures just under 8"...looks like a men's small, but's the fit, ladies?

gloves for those who hate gloves

Most impressive and telling about the Xenon glove is how even with its superlight construction and subtle padding, it's still remarkably durable, supportive, and surprisingly easy to remove. Lesser gloves leave hands numb after long hours, don't ventilate well, or simply fall apart after the first few rides. And it strikes a fine balance between 'just enough' padding in the right places so as to not compromise your feel on the bars. Cycling gloves aren't for everyone, but that's simply because not all gloves are created equal.

      * wear a Large size glove across the branding spectrum, and these are no different

Love the Xenon line-up in general. How would you compare these to L.G. Nimbus or the L.G. Mondo summer gloves?

Wish they made these for women...may give them a try anyway if you think they are better than the L.G.
