Stave off the chills.

In the crushing cold of winter, Jack Frost is relentless. No matter how clean and clear the air feels, honestly, we get agitated with his constant ear-biting. Thankfully, we have a secret weapon against these assaults — the Gore Bike Wear Universal SO Headband.

To protect your ears from frostbite, Gore constructed the Universal SO headband from its Windstopper membrane fabric. Not surprisingly, this material does what its name says — it stops wind. Now, we know that plenty of companies lay claims to being windproof, but no one shares the same pedigree as Gore. From the illustrious GoreTex to various iterations of Windstopper, Gore has proven that it's capable of dealing in absolutes.

In addition to blocking out the wind, Windstopper fabric is highly breathable. This allows body heat to escape, while retaining just enough to provide a consistent level of thermo-regulation. As an added benefit, it is also water-resistant.

The headband was designed to easily slip over your head. A slightly wider cut in the back and through the sides provides ample coverage for your ears. To keep the band in place, it features an elastic binding along the edges and an extra bit of elastic at the rear. And to make sure that abrasion is a non-issue, Gore also used flatlock seams throughout the headband. For added visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, a reflective logo was placed on the side.

The Gore Bike Wear Universal SO Headband is available as a one-size-fits-most and in the colors Black and Neon Yellow/black

Warm, not sweaty, ears.

Use Wind Stopper ear warmers almost every day more than 1/2 the year. The fabric breaths well so you don't get sweaty on the climb and it's fantastic on the way back down. Road, trail, even used it in an early season TT a couple weeks ago. Get a couple of them so you can always find one when you need it...all the time.

Best Ears Ever!

I am about to order my 3rd one for myself. I wear them so much that after awhile I just finally have to give in and buy another one. I even buy them for my friends who don't know what to get for themselves. I love the windstopper fabric, it truly does stop any wind coming into or onto your ears, keeping them warm and wonderful. A lot of ear warmers are either too thick or too tight and makes for a very uncomfortable ride under your helmet. I am always super comfortable. If you don't have these, you are missing out on a great opportunity to ride feeling wonderful.

I run hot and dont want a hat unless necessary. This so perfect for weather when your ears get chilly but your head is fine. The wind stopper material is great as always. I lost one and immediately ordered another.
