Item # GIR001R

Shorts season has arrived.

While the Ride collection of shorts was built primarily for time in the saddle, Giro's Mobility line leans more toward the casual side of things. With a shorter inseam, classic four-pocket styling, and comfortable fabric blend, the Women's Mobility Tailored Shorts are ideal for all your warm-weather adventures.

In order to create a modern-looking, fitted pair of shorts that work both on the bike and off, Giro went with a polyester and cotton fabric blend. The obvious benefits of cotton are the comfort and casual vibe, and by adding in a flexible polyester/elastane to the equation, the shorts move with the legs while on the bike.

The shorts were strategically cut to stretch and move efficiently and effortlessly, while retaining that sleek, fitted look. The contoured waistband adds to the smooth fit, and the four-pocket styling makes the shorts as versatile as they are comfortable.

The Giro Mobility Tailored Shorts - Women's are available in even sizes 2 through 12 and in the colors Dark Shadow, Jet Black, and Twilight Blue.

These shorts are absolutely fabulous. The color is bold. The fit is snug in a sexy way, and I didn't notice it ran smaller than normal sizing. The length of the leg is great because there is enough coverage to keep the shorts practical for riding. I'll keep ordering these every season.

They run small

My girlfriend normally wears a size 4, but the size 4s were to tight. The size 6 seems to fit her just about perfect. As with the pants that we bought the fabric is awesome. The pricing is also unbeatable for such a good quality product

Great shorts!

Excellent pair of shorts to wear on and off your bike. The material moves with you, the length is perfect for me (who prefers shorter shorts b/c of short legs), and the high-waist ensures that no part of you falls out when racing through those "orange" lights- perfect for folks who enjoy being a terror on two wheels. A bit tight at first (I sized up and still were tight when purchased) but after about a month of continual wear and 2 washes, they stretched out a bit and are quite comfortable.

Look good. Feel good.

I love these shorts. I now own them in blue and gray. They are great for riding and will make your booty look amazing. They fit true to size. I am 5'6 and 130 lb. and wear a size 4.

Functional, Comfy, stylish!

To be honest, I know these are bike shorts, but I bought them as regular shorts. They are made of an incredible soft material and they are stretchy which makes them probably the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. The length is great - they aren't super long/boyish, but they also aren't the 2in inseam that is for some reason (beyond my comprehension) the "in" style. The front pockets are for show, but don't worry, because the back pockets can fit your phone if need be. I have these in the twilight blue which is a really nice color that goes with a lot. I am considering getting another pair.

These run small, if you normally wear a 2 or 4 in generic clothing opt for a 6 (the size you probably wore before all the stores remapped sizes so we would feel better about ourselves).

I highly recommend these for general summer activities - and I imagine they are good for biking too -but I opted for the "Giro New Road Ride Tailored Overshorts - Women's" as my biking pair since they are longer and do a good job of hiding my chamois without making me look like a 12yr old boy.

Nice product, but not a keeper.

I bought the pants version of this product and I loved them so much that I thought I'd give the shorts a try. The shorts fit well and have excellent coverage, but they were not what I was looking for. These shorts are so form-fitting that I felt I might as well be wearing regular bike shorts (which I already own). If the leg openings were slightly wider/more casual, I would have kept them. I wanted them to work so badly that I tried ordering different sizes and colors to no avail. (FWIW: I'm a size 00p/0p/W25/XXS. Size 2 fit well --- read the sizing chart!)

Pros: Stretchy, excellent seat coverage, re-enforced crotch, comfortable inseam length.

Cons: Fake front pockets (Again, WHY.), 30% cotton, no gusset crotch.

ah what a bummer about the front pockets!

Comfy and attractive

I bought these shorts last year and returned them because that version had a seam in the crotch that made riding unbearable. This year, Giro added a semi-gusseted crotch and is now using fabric that doesn't pill. Well done! I use these for bike touring (long days in the the saddle) and commuting and I love them. There is still a small seam that runs through the crotch of these shorts. In the future I hope Giro removes that. They run a hair big. I'm typically a size 27/4, but I'm a solid 6 in these shorts.
