D'Wool Glove - Men's

Luxurious comfort and control.
Elevating trail riding comfort to entirely new realms, the Giro D'Wool Glove covers your hand in the superb softness of New Zealand MAPP merino wool. Not only is this material more comfortable than the stuffy synthetics found on traditional gloves, but just as importantly, it actively wicks moisture to prevent overheating and irritation on the trail. Another benefit of merino wool is its natural anti-odor properties, which prevents funky odors from taking up residence after a sweaty trail ride.
Along the palm, AX suede synthetic leather maintains a supple feel for high levels of control when you're slaloming down twisty singletrack. Also, there's a soft microfiber surface for wiping sweat off your face on grueling climbs. Touchscreen technology allows you to switch tracks and answer calls without taking off your gloves.

Great Comfort - Spotty Quality
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
From reading others reviews, I felt like ordering these gloves was going to be hit or miss. Purchased for a bikepacking trip from Denver to Durango on the Colorado Trail. The good: Comfortable, great dexterity. Suitable to wear across a wide range of temperatures. Touch screen compatibility is fantastic. The bad: Quality is marginal in the seams. Glove began to break down almost immediately, especially along the finger seams. I was able to patch them on a multi day trip, but it defiantly feels like these are "disposable" gloves that will have to be replaced after 10 days of full day use, not what you would expect from Giro.

Breezy, well put together
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These are great, super lightweight, grippy and feel like they have enough protection. Great gloves that I'll probably wear for mountain biking and road riding. Good quality wool and the fit is great for x-large hands

nice while they last, they don't last
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I like the glove for the fit and for the warmth of wool in cold wet conditions. However, I had a similar experience to some of the others who have left comments. They did not last. I noticed small holes in them within the first 4 days of starting to use them. I was touring (riding 5-10 hours a day) so they were getting a lot of use. By day 10 both thumbs had holes in them so my thumbs stuck through. By day 20 my index finger was beginning to stick through both gloves too. The picture is about 25 (long) days use. So, nice while they last, but they don't last very well.
