Fusion Bib Knicker

We appreciate the simple things in life, like fuss-free kits that stay in place and provide just the right amount of coverage, sans knee-warmers and uncomfortable bunching. That's not to say the Fusion Bib Knickers are simple, in fact with their moisture wicking and compressive qualities they are anything but — rather its the fit that falls under the simplicity category, enabling comfort in the shoulder-seasons, allowing you to skip the complicated layering systems and just ride. We find them more comfortable, since the number of seams is reduced, and it eliminates the wandering knee warmer. The only thing is, since it's more of a shoulder season piece, we don't get nearly the use out of them as we do with our summer bibs and winter tights so we really don't want to drop a ton of money on them.

The material offers the right insulation to keep you warm on those chilly rides but not so much so that you're quick to overheat when the tempo or the temperatures pick up. Otherwise, the lightweight, soft, and moisture-wicking material mostly go unnoticed while supporting your muscles with strategic compression when pushing yourself while in the saddle. Its cut in a paneling pattern for a body-hugging fit that moves with you and its aloe vera-infused Cirro Chamois provides support and mutes road noise from pockmarked winter pavement.

Seamless LoPro 0 soft wide elastic-microfiber bib straps are comfortable and offer support while the 190 Mesh at the center of the bib uppers quickly moves moisture preventing the dreaded clammy feeling. Final details include the LoPro 45 elastic leg cuffs with silicone gripper on the inside keeping the knicker in place throughout the ride while remaining non-restrictive and reflective accents at the bottom of both legs, increasing your visibility in those low-light conditions that usually accompany the cooler months.

  • Cool weather cycling knickers that pack in comfort and value
  • Microfiber material traps heat while wicking sweat
  • Form-fitting design offers compression for muscle support
  • Reflective details increase your visibility to motorists
  • Aloe vera-infused chamois supports and smooths the ride
  • Micromesh back and soft elastic bib straps comfortably support

Poor calf material/fit

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:

Out of the bag, the material hugs the body except weirdly at the calf, where the material is very loose. I wear knickers because it is too cold to wear shorts. Who wants a draft up their legs?

Id skip

I dont like the 3/4 length basically...these are fine for what they are but theres such a small temperature window where they are what you'd want to have on, which is Id say roughly 55 degrees to 65 farenheit. But even then you'd be fine with shorts usually. If I could do over Id just buy another full length knicker to have on hand and then roll them up if necessary.... getting caught wearing these when chillier than expected sucks
