Fashionably late to the party, the limited-edition Podium Gold colorway joins Fox's 50th anniversary release. Among the release of the three new dampers and now the fancy new color, Fox also completely redesigned the 32 Step-Cast fork for aggressive weight savings and even better performance. Weighing at just over 3 pounds, the redesigned 32 Step Cast fork went on a strict diet plan this season, receiving a milled-out arch, a revised crown, a superlight axle, and an ultralight steerer tube. Even with all the weight savings, Fox still managed to boost the stiffness from the previous model by 40%. The new GripSL damper provides us with a 3-position (open, medium, and firm) compression adjustment that is easily toggled via a flick of the switch and a 17-click rebound adjustment. The new GripSL damper is 65 grams lighter than the fit4 damper, has a simplified approach, and improved capability.
