Defend Kevlar Pant
Your weekend agenda starts first thing Saturday morning in the lift line for all-out downhill adventures, but don't forget to prep ahead of time by tossing on the Fox Racing Defend Kevlar Pant before you saddle up. Constructed from an all-way stretch fabric with tough Kevlar reinforcements at the knee, these pants let you move freely on the bike, while offering extra protection when the trail gets a little unruly and overgrown. The tapered lower leg prevents the pants from snagging on your drivetrain when its pedal-mashing time on the run into a bit booter, while laser-perforated vents on the front and back channel airflow inward to cool you when the heat is on. A ratchet waist closure provides a snug fit and quick on-the-fly adjustments, and a finishing touch of Durable Water Resistant treatment seals the deal against showers and mud.

I’ve been waiting months for these pants to come back in stock and I finally got them and am incredibly disappointed. I don’t know who they designed these pants for, but it’s not for a female mountain biker. I’m a very strong medium in pants. Sometimes even a small. I ordered a medium and could hard wiggle them past my (normal sized) hips/over my butt! Once I got them on, they still hardly fit in the waist, but they fit. BUT, the worst part of all is that they are a low rise cut! Like, very low rise. (My booty nearly shows when I bend over....) Who wants low-rise mountain bike bottoms? Y’all trying to show off your midriff? So not only do they cut you off in a weird spot, they’re incredibly uncomfortable to bend over in. I couldn’t imagine riding in these. Your hips are totally exposed, the crotch is really high, and they would fall down immediately since they cut below the hips. To be honest, I couldn’t even walk around in these. Other than that, the purple color is nice and the rest of the fit was good. If I sized up, my problems wouldn’t be solved. For that reason I have said that they fit “True to Size”. Time to return these. I’ve tried on the men’s pair and they’re much more comfortable and have a normal fit.

Hey Alice, These pants do not come with butt padding in them. You'll want to wear a liner short with a chamois under them! Please reach out if you need any guidance selecting a liner or sizing these pants.
