Aliante VSX Carbon Braided Saddle

Fizik's Aliante saddle is a go-to choice for many riders ranging from weekend warriors to self-sponsored racers, and especially riders who find they have a less flexible spinal column when in the riding position. The Aliante VSX Carbon Braided Saddle uses the same outline as the standard Aliante, but as part of Fizik's Versus X line, it's shaped with a 20mm pressure relief channel surrounded by thicker foam than the standard Aliante.

As you ride, the saddle's lightweight carbon braided rails work to absorb fatiguing road vibrations. Atop them, the Aliante's carbon-reinforced nylon shell has been fine-tuned to flex at the sides as you pedal. Fizik does this specifically to help the saddle strike a balance between supporting your sit bones and providing consistent power transfer without obstructing your full range of motion while pedaling. The low-density cushioning throughout the saddle gives it a softer response than more purist, race-focused models, while a Microtex cover stretched over the entire saddle shields it from the elements while resisting cracking and fading when exposed to the sun.
