Peace of mind.

You know you'd rather not put blind faith in yourself to make adjustments to your pricey carbon dreamship using a regular wrench, and our Competitive Cyclist Torque Tool's compact design and impressive versatility makes it pretty easy to relinquish control to a toque wrench instead. It comes preset to 5Nm, which is the most useful value for use across your cockpit. The tool includes 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and T20 bits to allow you to adjust a range of carbon componentry if you're lucky enough to have it. It's also small enough to stash in a saddle pack if you think you'll need to make on-the-go adjustments while breaking in—but not breaking—a new cockpit.

  • A torque tool preset to 5nm for adjusting carbon componentry
  • Helps ensure you won't over-tighten or crack carbon
  • Includes four versatile bit sizes

Neat and clean

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Seemingly too simple, but does exactly what it is designed to do; tells you when enough is enough. Diito to all of the other comments. Nice to know that you are not over doing it and stressing expensive components. Interchangeable sized bits are a nice bonus. I am not up to speed on all of the recommended torque settings for all components, but the preset 5Nm seems appropriate for most of the cockpit tolerances; stem, bars, seat post, saddle. No brainer for the price.

How do you know you got enough torque? Does it click?

In the pack or on the workbench

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I honestly just have this sitting on the workbench most of the time. If you ever need to tighten your seat clamp, grabbing this thing is much easier than setting the torque on your wrench, finding the right bit, etc.

Fine Tuning

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This thing is awesome for carbon bikes. Take a little stress out of tightening your carbon components up.

Great tool to have.

If you take your carbon seatpost off often, as I do, this tool is great. Reset that perfect torque setting without worry. Works great on stems, shoes, and other carbon bits.

Handy little Tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Pretty simple design, but really handy to have around. Compact and covers most tools you may need for minor adjustments when out and about. Never hurts to be prepared.

Got this as a free gift with another purchase. Great for stems and seatposts

The perfect tune

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This tool is great for all of those carbon parts you want to take extra care of!

Nice little tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is the type of tool I would never think was too important but it makes it much easier to fine tune on your carbon chariot without the stress of cracking bars or frame.

Stop crackin carbon!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This works great to keep your carbon cockpit from cracking. Especially for the price, super cheap insurance to keep your carbon components in great shape.

Handy little tool

5NM torque key for your seatpost, stem, etc. Comes with a couple different bits and is great to throw in the car or in your bike bag. Keep those carbon frames and components protected!

Torque made simple

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Light, simple, and easy to get a handful of screws torqued on the bike without pulling out the full on torque wrench. Love it.

Targeted.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It's not the most versatile tool, but for simple operations like adjusting cockpit components or replacing cleats on carbon soles, the 5Nm torque is the right fit.
