Isterico Vest

A result of direct requests from Castelli’s professional riders, the Castelli Isterico Vest is designed to keep your core warm during long off-season training rides when both cool temperatures and light precipitation are a concern.

The Isterico is constructed using windproof and water resistant Windstopper X-Free fabric on the front and sides (for maximum protection from the elements) and Warmer fabric on the back (for breathability and temperature regulation). The pros on Garmin-Cervelo use it with long sleeve base layer and a thermal long sleeve jersey in place of a full windproof jacket. The layers give them more options while preventing them from overheating -- when they get too hot, they simply remove the vest.

Cut to provide an anatomic fit that’s perfect for cycling, the Isterico also borrows details from Castelli’s other winter garments including YKK camlock zippers that lay flat against the vest. An elastic band on the back of the waist and a low-cut back keep it from riding-up while you’re bent towards the bars. A zippered-front pocket is perfect for your cell phone or keys, while three traditional rear pockets are more than enough for whatever gear you might want to carry. And last but not least, rear reflective tabs and trim at the hem provide increased visibility in low-light conditions.

The Castelli Isterico Vest is available in Black/anthracite or White/red and comes in six Castelli-specific sizes from Small through XXX-Large.
