Castelli updates their Body Paint Speed Suit to make this key piece of time trial kit faster and more efficient than ever. Based on years of research between wind tunnel and CFD analysis as well as Team Ineos’ racing, the Body Paint 4.X Speed Suit provides aerodynamic advantages targeted for speeds above 45km/h.

Every millimeter of the Body Paint Suit is optimized to reduce drag and increase your efficiency through time trial courses. The fabric itself has a fine finish to slip through the wind, while the paneling reduces the number of external seams that would otherwise slow your speed. The fit is tight to keep the fabric next to your skin, so there’s no extraneous fabric to catch the wind. Long sleeves and short lengths provide a full-body sleek fit, which is cut for an aggressive race position.

The Body Paint Suit features several more smart touches to shave seconds off your time. Thumb loops keep the sleeves anchored and prevent them from riding up as you tuck into position. A breathable number window on the low back eliminates the need for pins, which also eliminates that number flapping in the wind. Finally, Castelli’s KISS Air2 insert provides just enough comfort without bulk to allow you to hammer through to the final stretch.
