Description

Small Pump, Big Volume.

Jamming along some choice singletrack and suddenly presented with hissing tire and feeling rim touching trail is certainly a buzz kill. Get your groove back and ride out instead of walking with Blackburn's Mammoth 2Stage AnyValve Mini-Pump. Its TwistGrip head locks to Presta, Schrader, and Dunlop valves for a sure and leak free connection and is rebuildable. This mini pump is specifically designed to push more air per stroke making it perfect for higher volume mountain tires, but its switchable high-volume and high-pressure modes allow for faster inflation with less effort and its 120psi max pressure makes it ideal for road use too. Includes bottle cage mount so it's easy to take with.

  • AnyValve head fits Presta, Schrader, and Dunlop valves

No room for your hand

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this pump for the mtn bike. I tested it out the other day and found that the handle of the outer shaft moves all the up to the head and completely covers the inner shaft. This makes it awkward to pump up your tires because there is no t really any room to put your other hand to stabilize the pump while pumping. It was also hard to pump top off the tires to 30psi. The rubber plug only fits into the shrader side, so if you are using the presta side the rubber plug just dangles in the way. I ended up just taking the plug off.

I probably wouldn't buy this pump again. Next time I will go with one that has a T-handle.
