On weekend mornings and after work in the summer, we are psyched for our ride and want to stretch it out until the sun goes down, and the Infinito XE Disc Rival AXS Road Bike helps us make that happen. It's an endurance road bike built with a Bianchi carbon frame and fork, premium components, and hydraulic disc brakes for capable stopping power in all conditions. It's not just about all-out performance. It's a comfortable road riding machine. The XE model in particular aims to bring the Infinito to a wider audience with a more approachable price tag. But, that doesn't mean it's making any significant sacrifices for speed.
Bianchi gives a nod to the Infinito CV with the same sport-orientated geometry that gets us through the longest days with style and power. The biggest change is that Bianchi forgoes their premium Countervail dampening technology, which is known to reduce harsh road vibrations. This is a loss, but it doesn't mean the Infinito XE isn't worth it. It is. It delivers an outstanding road feel with no flex in the bottom bracket or tapered head tube, and it's lightweight from a full carbon frame and fork. The Infinito XE delivers a stable experience that inspires confidence for our ride, no matter how many miles we intend on putting away. And, it's agile enough to be one of our top picks from the bikes in our garage come race day.
The Infinito XE (XE stands for "Extra Endurance") is compatible with both mechanical and electronic Di2 shifting platforms. With this model, the SRAM Rival AXS groupset, as always, provides capable, reliable, and crisp shifting power throughout our ride. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure we have stopping power come rain or shine, too, so we can feel confident in our ability to go fast on that climb, then faster on the descent.
*Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be minor. If you have any questions, reach out to a Gearhead by chatting online or calling 1-888-276-7130.
