Kind of useless

No padding along the top rail means your downtube is resting on the top if the talilgate and is exposed to damage. I’ll be giving this away, its kind of useless.

Yes for F150!, With a small modification

Almost perfect fit for my f150. This must have been the 5th tailgate cover I tired. The f150 has a high tailgate handle and camera so most of the covers blocked the camera and handle. The huge two panel opening on the back allows the tailgate handle to be uncover no matter where is it located. Additionally, the f150 has a huge top which was also a bit difficult to fit for a cover, but this cover was able to fit the tailgate pretty well. The 4 straps at the bottom, keeping the cover flat, is also a huge plus compare to others I tried that had only 3 that left the cover folded and sticking out. The pad has foam blocks for the outside and inside of the cover. I had to cut the inside blocks off so it will fit with my tonneau cover. But everything else fits pretty well. For next iteration: 1) get ride of the huge foam blocks on the inside, just put a stronger but thinner material for padding the top and inside.

This tailgate pad is the bees knees. I’ve had it for about a year and use it regularly. The padding is great and I haven’t had issues loading up 4 bikes on here. My favorite feature is the little gear pouch on the back; it’s perfect for holding some small tools, an extra tube and riding gloves. I haven’t seen this on any other pads which I find insane because it’s so useful.

Sleek & fits like a glove! (Ford F-150)

I've used my new Backcountry Getaway Goat Tailgate Pad numerous times and it certainly gets the job done. It's easy to hook up to your tailgate, it holds your bike in place while offering great protection, and it easy to clean/rinse down. Lastly, the velcro hatch openings are super convenient for your backup camera or to access your tailgate latch. I highly highly recommend this tailgate pad to anyone!

Almost great

Only knock on this is the lack of padding on the top. When my bikes are secured in place the down tube rests on the tailgate but it?s the thinnest part of the whole pad and it rubs the frame raw.

Worked perfect
For our family of 4, this pad is exactly what I was looking for. It made loading up 100x easier and still allowed for so much space left in the bed of the truck. The hardest part of attaching it to the tailgate was having short arms to feed it under the tailgate and catching it to pull it through. Smarter not harder though and it took me 10 minutes to install by myself. Fits 4 bikes perfectly and the window for the back up camera was great. Tires will impede your view slightly, but that’s kind of a given. So thankful I bought this pad! My kids and I (and husband when he’s not working) are going to have a blast biking and camping all over this year!

Is large but doesn't really fit my 2020 F150

Seems. Like a decent pad but doesnt really conform well to my tailgate. The tailgate is super thick in tye center and tapers to thin on the sides. This is the only pad I've owned, may just be me?

This pad covers most of the tailgate, has great padding for protection and the slots for forks really lock the bikes in place well. The flexible size opening for the tailgate handle and camera is a nice feature.

First tailgate pad
It took me about 5 minutes to install. It fits perfect on my 2005 Taco’s tailgate. I ran a master lock dual loop cable through the pad and another to lock the bike so no one could take the bike or tailgate pad. I used two combo master locks to secure the cables to the tie downs in the bed. The tailgate pad holds the bike in tight.

Quality wise I would give it 5 stars. It doesn't fit perfectly on my Tacoma but it is very close to perfect which is the reason for the 4 (no 4.5 rating available). I would definitely buy again.
