Streamlined standard in trail protection.

The Alpinestars Evolution Vest serves as a streamlined alternative to the armored suits and burly pads riders have formerly relied upon while shuttling technical trails and enduro racing. In fact, this low-profile vest neatly tucks underneath your riding jersey, barely noticeable and totally out of sight without the battle-ready look you'd normally associate with enduro racers and gravity fiends. Its full-length zipper makes it incredibly easy to take on and off. Stretch mesh construction conforms to your upper body without drenching you in sweat.

For such a streamlined vest, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find its Level 2 CE-certified back protector, which is ergonomically shaped for greater mobility and riding comfort. It's a step up from the Level 1 protector found in the Evolution Jacket, courtesy of its energy-dissipating viscoelastic foam with articulated protection along vital vertebrae regions. This means you'll have extra peace of mind before plunging into precipitously steep trails strewn with imposing rocks and roots threatening to send you over the bars.

One of the vest's coolest features is its dual kidney pockets along the rear, which sits alongside the back protector. These pockets give you ample storage space for water bottles, tubes, snacks, spare gloves, and just about any riding accessory you'd normally stuff in a trail pack. Please note, unlike the Evolution Jacket, the Evolution Vest's back pad isn't removable and the rear doesn't accommodate a hydration reservoir.

  • Streamlined protection for enduro racing
  • Low-bulk design slides underneath your jersey
  • Level 2 back protector absorbs nasty impacts
  • Dual stretch pockets at rear for trail storage
  • Lightweight stretch mesh for breathable comfort
  • Breathable EVA pads at chest and torso
  • Full-length zipper for easy on and off
