Zero 25 Pro Seatpost

When it comes to versatility in the cockpit, we think that 3T's Zero 25 Pro Seatpost makes quiet the clever addition to your ride, packing in the ability to swap from zero offset to 25mm offset with little fuss, so you can stretch out when needed, or get a little more compact for race days ahead. The post features a unique clamp system that's made up of four different plates with different rail channels that can accommodate both round and oval carbon rails, and can be swapped back and forth to change the post's offset back and forth as needed. The post is built from durable aluminum that finds a balance between weight savings and price, scaling in a bit heavier than carbon posts, but with a cost that won't make your bank account shudder.

  • A seatpost that plays double duty for customized cockpit
  • Swaps between zero offset and 25mm offset depending on your needs
  • Light and reliable alloy construction keeps price palatable
  • Easy to adjust by swapping position of clamp system
  • Generous 350mm length accommodates cyclists of all heights
  • Clean black aesthetic looks sleek on any steed
  • Clamp enables you to run either round rails or oval carbon rails

Great Idea, Poor Execution

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I purchased this post because of it's potential adjustability and it seemed like a great post at a reasonable price. I have been a bike mechanic for four seasons and an avid cyclist for almost thirty years. That said, when attempting to install the saddle rails on the clamp, I could not get the rail clamp bolt to tighten to spec (9Nm). After contacting 3t they directed me to a video (that I had already watched) that gave instruction for proper installation. I carefully followed the instructions (again) and worked delicately with the bolt and got it to the proper torque spec. However, the following day on my ride the bolt failed and the nose of my saddle was pointing upward. I had to stop several times to tighten the clamp only to have it repeatedly fail. I have since attempted to contact 3t several times to resolve this situation but no response. I recommend that you don't buy this seat post because of the poor seat rail clamp design and 3t's unwillingness to support their product (in my case anyway).

OMG! and I thought that I was doing something wrong. But after carefully inspecting it seems the clamp is made for flat rails found on some carbon seats. This surely bites! I must say I am very disappointed in the product. I am more disappointed that I cannot return it. That really pisses me off.
