For the adventurous commuter.

Take the less-traveled path home with the Vittoria Adventure Trail TNT Clincher Tire, which was designed with multi-surface commuters in mind. It adds fast-rolling durability to the daily commute with a tread pattern designed to take on limestone paths, dirt roads, and the patches of salt or sand pushed to the shoulders during winter that make your other tires play slip and slide through every intersection.

The Adventure Trail tire incorporates Vittoria's TNT casing. TNT is compatible with both tubes and sealant-based tubeless systems and has reinforced sidewalls for confident durability over the miles. Vittoria also utilizes its thorn-resistant rubber Solid Shielding for additional flat protection against tire-devouring road detritus like the goat heads of late summer.

Tough Tire

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This tire provides a good trade off between puncture resistance and suppleness. It has a low tpi so it's not very supple feeling compared to Panaracer Gravel King which is very supple feeling. But in return you get much improved durability and lack of flats. I ride in very sharp limestone rock of the Ozarks where flats are much more common than Northern CA, or Colorado (where I have ridden). I have 600 miles on this tire with no flats or cuts. This is the toughest tire I have found for gravel/backwoods riding. I have tried Kenda Flintridge, Terrail Cannonball, Challenge, Donnelly, Panaracer. If toughness is your first concern this tire should be first on your list.
