    LIKE A BRICK WALL

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These things are as strong as you will ever need and modulate like nothing else. I put them on all of my builds and they never disappoint. Easy to service and they don't face like Guides do. Only thing that would stop you faster is a brick wall.

    Guides on Steroids

I've put it through the wringer

I didn't know what I was missing until I tried the Code brakes. While these are a decent bit heavier than Guides, they offer SO much stopping power, which is super helpful with today's long travel 29in bikes. The difference was immediately noticeable, and addicting. I swapped brakes on my other bike as I was able to unlock a whole new level of control, especially in steep terrain or when someone spokes you descending and you need to keep your composure as you slide to a halt.

But really. The new Code brakes are easily the best bang for the buck on the market. Anyone who runs the RSC version of this brake will agree that not only is it cost efficient, but the adjust-ability and reliability are like no other on the market. You get a brake that world cup downhill riders are able to race on, ensuring that you have the stopping power needed to take the risks on the trail you know you're capable of coming out on top of. Bar-none, the best brake we currently offer in terms of checking off all of the boxes!
