Competitive Cyclist, 7mesh and Tyax Adventures BC Bound Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”)

How to participate: No purchase necessary to enter or win the “Sweepstakes”. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. During the entry period, participants can enter the Sweepstakes by submitting a valid email address to the Sweepstakes landing page by the entry deadline. www.competitivecyclist.com/sc/bc-bound

Sweepstakes rules: Entrants must provide a valid email address to be eligible to win. Winners will be notified by email. If winners do not contact the Sponsors to redeem their prize within 7 days, they will be disqualified. One entry per valid email address is allowed. By submitting a valid email address to the Sweepstakes landing page by the entry deadline, entrants agree to be added to and receive communications from the Sponsors’ email lists.

Prizes and odds: Entrants are eligible to win one grand prize. One winner will receive two reservations for a 3-day overnight mountain bike trip guided by Tyax Adventures on August 5 - August 7, 2017 in the South Chilcotin Mountains near Lillooet, British Columbia (valued at $1200); two airline tickets to Vancouver, British Columbia (capped at $800 per individual airline ticket), 7mesh riding gear for two ($750 value) and transportation and lodging for two from Vancouver to the Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa (valued at $1200), where the adventure begins.

The Sponsors will work with the winner to arrange for airfare, transportation and lodging, but participants must be able to travel to and from Vancouver between August 1, 2017 and August 10, 2017. A lack of cooperation in this process will result in disqualification. The total value of this prize is $4,750. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the U.S. age 18 or older, except employees of the Sponsors and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their same household. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.

Prize selection: Winners will be selected at random from Sweepstakes entrants meeting the requirements of these Official Rules. Winners will be selected by Competitive Cyclist at random 5 days after the Sweepstakes closes at the Competitive Cyclist corporate offices in Park City, Utah. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes that apply to prizes. No cash or other substitution of prizes is permitted, except at the sole option of the Sponsors for a prize of equal or greater value.

Verification of winners and delivery of prizes: Winners may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. Prizes may be awarded to alternate winners if declarations/releases are not completed at the time that prizes are awarded.  The winner agrees to use of their name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law.

Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and his/her Sweepstakes entry) from this Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsors or any of their affiliates if he/she tampers with the entry process or if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release Sponsors and their directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activity.

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
