Slippery and more comfortable than a greased watermelon.
Being slippery to the air is key when you're racing the clock or your
crew, and the Poc Octal Aero Raceday Helmet is as streamlined as you’ll get without
buying a full-on time-trial helmet. It's just as safe as the standard Octal, with an impact-dispersing unibody polycarbonate shell and strategically mapped EPS foam, but it forgoes most of the vents in favor of a sleek and smooth design that lets the air slip past with minimal disruption.
POC molded the straps directly into the liner for increased aerodynamics, durability, and comfort, and built in an easy-to-use size adjustment system that conforms to your head with the twist of a dial. Since the Aero is relatively low on ventilation, POC made sure to pad it using Coolbest, which actively cools your head by wicking moisture and encouraging airflow so you don't overheat when you're trying to make it to the finish first.
