Warmth without the tights.
Constructed with Pearl's Elite Thermal Fleece, these leg warmers actively wick moisture off your skin for superior comfort when you're riding hard. Fleece panels keep your legs pleasantly warm without stifling them, should the temperature rise throughout your ride. Advanced anatomic shaping enhances range of motion, while eliminating pesky bunching. Other important features include a wide elastic band with silicone gripper for a secure, non-irritating fit, as well as a zippered ankle opening for easier on and off.

Warm and efficient
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought: Medium
They are great, they bunch down small to fit in a bike jacket back pocket but are very warm. The zipper is nice and high so you can get them over your bike shoes. The band at the top is tight, but I have muscular thighs and didn't really have a problem (although I am a woman and these are men's). You can alleviate this by putting on top of your bike shorts and that helps with the constriction.
Excellent with caveat
Pearl Izumi USA is based outside cycling mecca Boulder, CO and they make great winter cycling gear (gloves, jackets, caps, booties).
Pros: 1.) Very high quality textile is the perfect (mid) weight for early morning starts. 2.) Soft, fleecy inside is comfortable and warm. 3.) They look good. 4.) Excellent quality and QC from Pearl Izumi, per usual.
Caveat: The upper band is definitely a little tight/restrictive (and digs in) for those with larger thighs. So, I think these leg warmers work best for slim to fit, average weight riders.
I'm 5'10", the size L fit me well.
