Great for hot, sunny rides

Familiarity:: I've used it several times

Worked well for preventing sunburn or sun damage without hassle of sunscreen. I don't like the mess and hassle of reapplying with sunscreen, so this is a great alternative. Bought it for a Hawaii trip, 7+ hour road ride in full sun most of the time and around 80F & humid. I'm not tan, and I burn easily, but my shoulders were only slightly pink after the ride. Wicks sweat well yet didn't get soaked, and has a noticeable cooling effect (does seem cooler than my Bontrager long sleeve summer jersey). I wore a thin mesh baselayer under it if that matters. Overall fit is good, and sleeves are nice and long. I'm 5'11" 190lbs and a large is just about perfect, but bordering on too small. But XL would have been baggy for my taste. Only disappointment is the jersey is not as white as the photo suggests. Actually it's not white at all, more of a very pale, light green. Overall would definitely buy again. My go to sun jersey now.
