Why We Like The Celsius XC Arctic GTX Cycling Shoe

When it comes to cold weather riding, we value comfort above all else. That's why we appreciate Northwave's Celsius XC Arctic GTX Cycling Shoe. It's designed with a GORE-TEX membrane and neoprene collar to keep our feet and ankles dry and toasty (but not too toasty), and complete with an SLW2 dial for simple and easy adjustments. An EVA insole adds cushioning and support so we can stay focused on riding through wet and snowy days.

Not for winter

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I had high hopes for these shoes. My toes get cold easily, and since I ride down to low 20s I needed something solid to keep them warm. First of all, it could be a sizing issue as the EUR45 I received where super tight- can't really wiggle my toes. And I usually have EUR44. However, I took them for a two hour spin at 40 degrees Fahrenheit and my toes were ice cold. I thought that was a bad sign. I am exchanging them for the Magna Core XC, one size up, and see if that will solve the issue. Still three stars as the shoes are beautiful, the materials are top notch, the single-dial closing system top of the line... if they only would keep my feet warm, they would be a 5***** cold-weather shoe...
