Take the longer trail.

Your hands are easy to neglect when you're heading out on a ride, but once you try a great pair of gloves, you never forget the benefits of added grip and protection on the trails. Giro's Xena Gloves for women provide breathable comfort and full-finger coverage for your hands.

The palms of the gloves are made with soft, durable AX Suede synthetic leather. It’s sewn into a three-piece design to fit the natural curve of your hand and prevent bunching when you grip the bars. AX Suede retains the same breathable properties you find in most microfibers to help keep your hands dry. Your hands are one of three contact points your body has with the bike and hold up a significant amount of body weight, so Giro uses Poron XRD padding throughout high-pressure areas on the palms to prevent numbness during long days on the trails.

Though these are full-fingered gloves, Giro didn't overlook the necessity of breathability while riding in warm weather. The Xena Gloves have a moisture-wicking mesh upper that stretches with you as you vary your hand position on the bars. The top of the thumbs are finished with a soft, absorbent microfiber so you can wipe perspiration from your face and glasses without scratching them.

Great Gloves

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought for my wife and she says: Use these gloves every time I ride and they are great! The palms have a nice cushion that help ease the pressure of resting on my handle bars for long periods of time. The fingers have a mesh material that helps prevent your hands from getting sweaty and hot.

Nice gloves

I got these gloves to use while mountain biking. They are super comfortable and have enough padding where its needed. Great product.

Great for Mountain bike on a hardtail

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Love these gloves!!! I use them for racing.

    Great MTB & Road gloves.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

I typically get a women's small in gloves but I ordered a medium based on other users fit review and the medium's fit me perfect. I purchased these for mountain biking but have also used them road biking and they work great for both.

The padding on the palms and mesh between the fingers is a nice touch and the gloves are super comfortable and I don't even know they are on. I have not had any luck with the touch screen fingers working and I have to take my gloves off to use my phone.

Overall I think these gloves are great, I ordered the titanium color and they look rad! 4-stars only because I think the stitching could be a little tougher.

    Giro are my Hero gloves

    • Size Bought: L

I just love the way Giro gloves fit. They are super comfy with a great overall fit. I order L. My hand is not super big, but in gloves , it just seems they run small to me hand measures about 7.5-8" ..L is perfect in Giro in gloves. Colors are fun, padding is fun too :) ..

    Poor Construction

I had an older pair of these in a mens version that I loved and wore for two solid years - loved them. I bought these about a year ago and they are falling apart. Very disappointed.

      Solid Gloves

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

      From my sisters perspective:
These gloves are great! They fit well to your hand, and cushion well on long descents. My hands also don't get too hot in them which is really nice! I love them!

I dont think it is an advertise feature, but they indeed do work with a smart device. I can text, record, and make phone calls without taking them off!

I'd say that the overall value of the gloves are good. Fit is true to size chart. I wear a medium and the fingers are extremely narrow, which is ok for me but may be an issue for other women. I've rode with tem three times now on the trails, and the fingers are pulling apart in a few places. The sides of the fingers are breathable mesh, which is awesome for not making your hands all sweaty after a long ride. But the stitching is fragile.

I think they will last me the season with some mending. Palm pads are great , very comfortable. Overall a good glove.
