Heady and ready.

Nothing says that you're a cyclist like Giro's Classic Cotton Cap. On or off the bike, this cap offers a bit of shade from the sun, a cover from wind and rain, and a layer of insulation when it's cool. It also wicks sweat when the heat rises.

The Giro Classic Cotton Cap is one-size-fits-all and is available in the colors Black/grey, Black/white, White/black dot, and White/black/grey.

Excellent for the money.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is obviously not the most refined or technical cycling cap out there but it looks good and does the job just fine, my head is larger than average and it does fit well. The fabric and stitching seem to be of decent quality at least, I've already washed it a few times and so far it's holding up, assuming I can get a year or more of use out of this (which I expect) I would say it was money well spent.

Great option for big headed riders

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I have a really hard time finding cyclign caps that dont leave red lines of pinch my temples. This fits well with extra room even with my 7&3/4 noggin.
PS - theres a Giro 'eye' logo under the brim. Loods pretty rad peak up

Sweet Hat

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I really like the Giro brand for socks and bike hats. This hat is real comfortable and love wearing it under my helmet riding or while I am on the trails running.

"Classic" for a reason

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Looks rad, fits well (with or without helmet). Stoked.

Nephew loved it

  • Fit: True to size

My nephew asked for this for his birthday and I got it for him and he loves it.

Great accessory

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I have a fairly big head, so I was worried about the OSFA, but this cap fits great. It definitely helps on chilly rides, but also does the job keeping sweat out of my eyes when it's warmer. And best of all, it's stylish enough to keep on when popping into the store, or yes, the coffee shop - better than walking around with helmet hair. Very comfortable, and will probably buy a few more.

New fav

I'm a big bike hat guy and wear them often. So, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to fit and function. This really is a classic. The bill is just the right length. Flips up and stays in place. It's not too shallow or too deep...though that can be a personal pref due to head size. It's plenty durable and has held up to multiple washings without any noticeable fading or stitching breaks. It's made form the standard heavier than t-shirt-closer to canvas cotton, but breaks in nicely.

A surprisingly handy bit of gear

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A cycling cap is as classic a part of cycling as a frame pump. Even though I can't endorse wearing a cycling cap to coffee shops, that extra layer on your head and visor over your eyes really helps as it gets a little chilly or the precipitation starts to fall. Cycling caps don't work great with all helmets, but its nice to have the option. Giro's cap is as good as any, and has great styling to boot.
