The FR-C Doppio uses an ultralight fabric for the jersey upper, paired with mesh under the arms to help vent and dump heat to perform better in hot and humid conditions. The next-to-skin fit ensures both less drag and better moisture transfer as the fabric can better wick sweat away from the skin. These lightweight materials also dry quickly to keep you comfortable from swim to ride to run. Giordana’s tri-specific Cirro S chamois is thinner than that used in the FR-C Pro Bibs, so that it won’t impede motion while running or swimming, yet provides the needed vibration dampening and increased comfort on the bike.

Wide leg grippers keep the suit well in place, without constricting movement, and the laser-cut sleeves lay flat and move well with the body. With so demanding a sport, Giordana knows we need fuel close at hand to give it our all through the whole race. A total of four pockets ensure we can stash gels within easy access to keep up our energy. The side-access pockets on the rear of the jersey and the front short pockets lie flat when empty to not increase drag. For ease of getting in and out, the full-length zipper has an optional drawstring, so we aren’t left fumbling with a tiny zipper pull when we’re thoroughly cracked.
