The DT Swiss 240s Predictive Steering Front Hub takes a great thing and makes it even better. SRAM's new Predictive Steering front hub interface — designed for use with specific RockShox fork models only (for now) — enhances stiffness and control of your front wheel while also shedding a bit of weight. When combined with the bulletproof engineering of the DT Swiss 240s hub platform, great things happen. Pair it up with a 240s rear, and you have a pretty perfect combo.
The 240s front hubs use a forged aluminum shell that houses stainless steel bearings (balls and races), which are known for their famous durability. And thanks to the DT Swiss labyrinth seal system — non-contacting seals that utilize an asymmetrical path to resist moisture, muck, and grit — your bearings will keep their magical smoothness over the long haul. While the Predictive Steering axle configuration may be only be applicable to certain RockShox forks for the time being, the system smashes performance standards achievable by regulation thru-axle interfaces, so look for a growing number of Predictive Steering-ready forks to hit the market soon.
The DT Swiss 240s Predictive Steering Front Hub comes in one color only. It utilizes SRAM's 110mm-wide Predictive Steering axle interface and cannot be adapted to other axle configurations at this time.
