AssosMille GT Short Sleeve Jersey - Men's
Item # AAS009I
Summer style.
Add some Assos apparel to your summer cycling wardrobe this season without breaking the bank with the stylish and moisture-wicking Men's Ss JerseyMilleGT. Ideally situated for warm-weather riding, its lightweight and breathable Type.157 Stripe textile is a stretchy circular knit so it's quick to dry while offering UPF35 protection against the sun's rays. If the thermostat is still a little too high on long climbs, the slim, full-length zipper allows you to easily dump heat. It's cut in the refined Assos Regular Fit that offers plenty of range of motion and is extremely comfortable while in the cycling position. Perfect for those long training rides when you don't want or need an aggressive aero jersey and instead value comfort over saving seconds.
Assos recommends you wear the jersey over a skinFoil baselayer for the best performance and recommends the NS.skinFoilSummer_evo7, SS.skinFoilSummer_evo7 or SS.skinFoil_Spring/Fall_evo7 depending on the season and your personal comfort level. Additionally, arm warmers can be used to extend its versatility or start off with a vest or shell that you can later store in the pockets for cool departures or extended descents. Speaking of pockets, the triple ramp pocket design positions them so they are easy to access on the ride and contain an internal seam creating a lip to keep contents in your pockets over rough roads. Longer reflective piping flanks the outer pockets for increased visibility to motorists in low-light situations.
- A summer jersey perfect for warmer rides
- Regular fit is ideal for long training rides
- Type.157 Stripe Tex material is lightweight, wicking, and breathable
- 3 roomy rear pockets stow ride fuel and spare tubes
- Rear reflective stripes help you stay visible to motorists
- Full-length zipper lets you adjust airflow based on the conditions

I bought an XL. I fit an XL in Pearl Izumi no problem. This was way too small. I gave it to my son.

I'm 5' 9" 180 lbs and I bought a large and the large size shirt was so tight I could not even sipper it up, return it, ridiculously small and tight for a size large.

Just a warning because the sizing says relaxed, while the Mille s7 says slim - the GT runs smaller. 5'11" - 160 - wear a small in the Mille s7 - sending the small back for a Medium in the Mille GT. Sleeves are short - but material seems like quality Assos.

Does anyone know how this Mille Jersey fits compared to the Ss.milleJersey_evo7 Jersey? I wear a 'S' in that jersey - wondering if this one is smaller?

I have been wearing Assos for years, it is my favorite bike clothing brand. Jerseys from prior years are high quality, great fabric, custom fitting, albeit more expensive than newer generation jerseys and shorts. The quality of this brand has fallen with the lowering of price, to the point that it makes more sense to purchase Castelli, Giordana, Mavic or other brands.

Quality, but fit is off
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Fit was great around the shoulders, but loose around the waist. When I am in ride position, the zipper unit bunches up. I'm 6'3", but I feel like this was meant for someone around 6'5"+. Too loose in the lower portion. I'm leaner around the waist, so if you need a little more room, recommend this one. The zipper is off too. Very hard to connect the zipper when I put it on. Probably just a one-off issue, but it is an indicator of overall quality in my opinion. I should have retuned it.

I wear an extra large. In this jersey, I see an XL and an XLG size. Which is which?

Hey William, Great question! Essentially, XLG is XXL. You would need just a regular XL. Let me know if you have any other questions! Best, Matt Conn

Please be aware that the orange version of this jersey runs small. I have it in Red (fits perfectly). I have been told by Assos that the process to create the orange impacts the size (but did't tell anyone). The specs might have changed too but they didn't admit that to me. They finally make a VISIBLE jersey and it does not fit.

Great quality for the price and an overall very solid jersey option. As mentioned in a previous review the sleeves are about an inch shorter than other Assos jerseys such as the Equipe Evo 8 so if you like shorter sleeves this is a great option for you. Overall torso fit, and length were spot on and similar to other Assos jerseys I have worn.

This is a great Jersey for the summer. Very breathable. One think I have noticed is that the pockets are very large. If you do not have many thinks they feel lose.

The fit is questionable...

I've worn lots of Assos kits and love the fit but this jersey is not even close. The chest is WAY too lose. Arms are snug for me so If I got into a small it would be too tight. Be advised the sleeve is SHORT! Really bummed about it because the price is right. Sending it back!

Boring

I ordered the red. I've worn Assos Jerseys only, for about 10 years now, most recently their Mangussta and their special edition Tour of California. Like those, the fabric color, quality, workmanship and fit of this jersey are superior, and I like the seamless collar. The price makes it a very good value too. But it's about as interesting to look at as a solid colored Polo or Tee Shirt. I'm not looking for giant logos or screaming graphics; just something of interest like fabric weave or tone-on-tone or other pattern with some interest. And I think nearly all Assos jerseys this year are pretty boring. Instead, I'm going to choose between a couple of Capo's that seem to equal Assos' quality but are fun to look at.

The Best Jersey for the $$
- Familiarity:

I have quite a few jerseys ranging in price from the lowly $60 jersey to $180 and there is quite a difference between them. Personally, I have found the $120 mark to be the sweet spot for my own preferences. However, this Jersey from Assos has been my favorite. Well made, super comfy, feels great to the touch and will be perfect on hotter summer days. I would buy it over again and strongly suggest it to anyone looking for a premium jersey at a less than premium price point. I feel like the sizing is similar to Castelli, I wear an XL in Castelli and this Assos also fits best in an XL.
