Equipe RS Rain Cap
Wind and rain are masters of turning an otherwise fine ride into a march to the finish. The Assos Equipe RS Rain Cap makes sure our heads stay warm and dry no matter the weather, so we can focus on the road and not the hot cocoa to come when we arrive home. The cap is made from Assos’ tried and true Schloss Tex softshell, a breathable and waterproof 3-layer fabric. The half-moon construction eliminates unnecessary seams, so it layers comfortably under a helmet.
- Waterproof cap to brave dreary weather
- Breathable 3L softshell fabric vents heat to remain comfortable
- Adjustable-position brim shields from rain
- Elastic back fine-tunes fit

Terrible Quality - Bill broke in two
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit:
- True to size
Bill snapped in two pieces after just one use. Can't say this cap is worth $45, nor $1 for that matter. It performed beautifully out on the road in a torrential downpour, but the bill couldn't withstand one wash on gentle cycle, breaking into two pieces diagonally across the middle, rendering the bill and cap useless (whole point of such a cap is to keep water off the head and out of the eyes, and without a functioning bill, it can't do that). Assos declined to replace it. In conclusion, terrible quality. (In comparison, a similar and less expensive Showers Pass cap has lasted several years.)

RAIN AND WIND BLOCK CAP
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- II
- Height

I have owned the previous version, all black, rain cap and I loved it. I have a big noggin, XL, and the II fits great. A very durable cap that makes a nice transition from the Fugu Cap I wear in cold temps. This cap keeps me warmer than a cotton cap. The cap is durable and I have not put it in the washer, instead I wipe it clean if needed. I don't ride in the rain much but the little I have, my head is dry and the cap has beads of water on it.
