Great fit, very comfortable

I bought these for Midwest winter riding. I found that they're a little cool at ~32-34 degrees, though I haven't ridden them colder yet. I was hoping they would take me down to 25 degrees, but I don't think they'd be warm enough. I think the sweet spot for these would be 35-45 degrees or so. They're only a bit warmer than the Assos Spring/Fall shorts + leg warmers which IMO can be comfortably worn down to 40 degrees or so. The fit is great and similar to other assos shorts, and they're very comfortable despite a couple more seams on the legs than usual. The chamois is one of their newer models and is flawless. No extra fabric like their previous generation light gray chamois. For what they are, they're great and worthy of 5 stars. However, if I went to purchase again, I'd probably try the MILLE GT ULTRAZ WINTER BIB TIGHTS for ~25-45 degrees and use the Spring fall shorts + leg warmers for 45-60.

I want to preface this review in saying I hate tights. A lot of years of winter riding in Colorado have left me chaffed and scared. So I thought since I love Assos products these would be worth a try. They are expensive, and worth every penny. Unbelievably comfortably so far. Not areas where they are too tight or problematic. Make me want to ride in the cold and that is the type of gear you are looking for. They were warm without being hot and no issues with chamois fit or pinching. If price is not an issue I would highly recommend these tights for winter riding.

I only just got these, but since there are no reviews and it is a confusing product, here goes. Despite the fact that these tights have Habu in the name, which used to denote Early Winter, these are in fact full on winter tights. The evidence is the double layer of their heaviest RX fabric over the knee. These are in fact a serious upgrade of the LL.Mille winter tights of a few years back. Those were super warm RX heavy tights with a double layer over the knee, but were held back by lack of wind proofing and a pretty simple pad. These tights have a very nice windproof front piece and a much better pad. So, the LL.Mille perfected. These tights lack real waterproofing and dispense with the sweaty geoprene ankles of the super pricey RS Equipe, so they're for cold, dry weather. So cold that if it is wet, you're really better off going skating...
