We started with a TURQ series carbon frame for its unreal strength-to-wait ratio that offers an extremely responsive ride. The Fox Factory-supported Switch Infinity rear linkage offers 130mm of bump-busting travel and tons of traction for everything from slick rocky descents to loose dusty climbs. A 44mm offset Fox Factory 36 fork with 150mm of travel and the slack 65.5-degree head tube angle are paired with 29-inch wheels for precision handling and the ability to get up and over just about any obstacle we come across. Yeti’s engineers also designed the geometry to feature a steep seat-tube angle and long reach so that we can get into the ideal position to power up steep climbs while still being able to move around the bike for high-speed, techy downhills.

Our exclusive Yeti SB130 X01 Eagle kit builds off of SRAM’s lightweight 12-speed X01 Eagle drivetrain for its wide gear range and ultra-reliable, crisp shifting. The Fox Factory 36 fork was a clear choice for buttery smooth suspension thanks to its seemingly infinite adjustability, allowing us to dial in our suspension setup to suit our riding style. Paired with a set of bombproof 29-inch e*thirteen LG1 EN wheels to keep us rolling over the toughest technical terrain and a pair of 4-piston SRAM Code RSC brakes for precision stopping power, this bike is ready to tackle everything from all-day trail epics with massive amounts of vert to the occasional local enduro race.
