I've put it through the wringer

I've used these for YEARS. My previous job involved hauling bikes around in a Sprinter, and we had 20-ish of these mounted to the sides. Now I have a couple mounted to a slide-out tray in my pickup. These things are bomb-proof!

What are the dimensions for the mount? LxWxH

Holds tight.

I've put it through the wringer

A great and secure mount that with a few 2" x 6"s can make a great truck bed mount. Definitely holds the fork tight and doesn't let you bike move, even on the super curvy roads for someone on a budget. But I'd recommend spending a little more for the locking version. A few extra buck now will be lot better then spending a few thousand later replacing a stolen bike. If you are heading straight to the trail from the house, you are all good, but if you plan on leaving you bike unattended, even for a few minutes, being able to securely lock them up is great for a peaceful mind.

I've put it through the wringer

If you need something totally basic to get your bike from point A to point B, then these are great. I mounted a bunch to a 2x8 and screwed it down to my enclosed snowmobile trailer. I was able to haul 34 bikes safely and without damaging any of the bikes. There is no security to them so keep that in mind, also they will not work on through axle bikes very well.

Works great on my ghetto rack

I've put it through the wringer

I have a "van rack" on my camper and this bolts right on. It is super simple and solid, couldn't ask for more. It is also way less expensive than a tray mount. I just use voile straps on the rear and I am set, never gets loose.

Simple, effective, slight modification.

I used the Blockhead to bolt in the back of my truck. It's simple and strong. However, I needed to use longer bolts, and since the top overlaps over the holes, I had to drill out the pre-set holes in the bottom of the mount. This allowed me to slide in the longer bolts at an angle, and get bast the overhanging skewer mount. It did the job and now it works well.

Great product; high shipping cost.

This product is easy to install and easy to use. I had to get an additional bike mount because my son recieved a larger bike and we had to move the original mount farther back to allow his bike to fit. My only negative comment is the shipping is half the cost of the product. I am sure there are less expensive shipping costs.
