Why We Like The Subterra Rolling Carry-On 22in Bag

Thanks to the Thule Subterra Carry-On Rolling Gear Bag, you're able to pack all the work attire and post-grind clothes you need in order to get through a long work weekend in Boston, without having to check a bag. As the name suggests, the Subterra is carry-on compatible, allowing you to easily store it in the overhead bin of most airplanes. However, you can forget about having to lug the Subterra around like a giant sack of rocks because it's equipped with smooth, rolling wheels that navigate tarmac and variegated sidewalks with ease. Durable, 800D nylon safeguards your precious cargo, while the zippered external pocket offers secure respite for your phone, book, and boarding ticket. A telescoping handle makes for an easy navigation experience. Meanwhile, on the inside, a compression panel ensures that you're able to bring along all the items you need, without wrinkling work shirts or fresh-pressed pants.

My first roller suitcase and I love it

After years of holding off on buying a roller bag, (trying to build in exercise) I finally decided to buy one. Had my first work trip this week with it- 2 days in New Orleans. It was great. Easily fit a couple days of clothing, my work laptop, exercise clothes, and could have fit more. I like the feature that lets you compress clothing. It was easy to use in the airport and fit well in the overhead bins. Glad I purchased this suitcase!

Practical & Modern

It's difficult to find a two wheel roller bag. Living in the city and traveling to places like Europe, I find that small spinner bag wheels aren't as smooth over streets and sidewalks. The large wheels on this bag are very smooth and roll easily over crack and crevices. I also added the compression cubes and was surprised with how much I was able to fit for a true carry-on size bag. The zipper compartment on the top is also very handy. The overall look is sleek and modern. I really love the dark blue with the contrasting interior. Already ordered the coordinating backpack and can't wait to use them both on my next trip.

Lightweight carry-on

This lightweight carryon is not light on space! I packed for a full week’s worth of athletic and casual dining clothes. Compact but holds a lot especially if you learn how to roll everything. Athletic but also stylish travel piece.

Met/exceded my expectations after first vacation.

One trip in the books, and love how my Thule performed. The sturdiness of the workmanship was one of the main features I was looking for. Also, I preferred the 2 wheels vs. 4 wheels, that other brands use. Inside, the compartments made it easy to arrange goods, and the featured compression sheath definitely helped in being able to add more clothing.

love product - cannot repair

I really like this suitcase -- however, I had a small part of the handle broken, and they would not give me the ability to fix it. It seems very wasteful to have to commit that much of a fully functioning product to a landfill because such a small component didnt fit

Durable and stands out in the crowd!

Bought for husband, he simply loves it, we ordered the forest green colour so it is easy to find on the baggage carousel! Durable, spacious, elegant and so far hasn't been killed off or damaged by airline handlers!

Best Carry On Ever!

We recently used this bag for a trip to the islands. Not only was it a very attractive looking bag but I can’t believe how much we were able to fit using the compression panel feature. The clothes remained unwrinkled as well. We will be purchasing another of these bags so that both my husband and I can each have one. Now that we have used the Subterra neither of us wants to go back to our “other” bags. Another great design by Thule.

Just bought it today

My bag is only 1 day old. I will review it after 1 year. Yes I fell in love with this bag namely because I owe other Thule back packs. After reading its specs I am surprise that the it is bigger (36L) compare to the spinner. The other reason I bought it is because its the same colour as my back pack.

Why only two wheels?

When is Subterra Carry on going to get 4 wheels and ability to be pushed or pulled rather than just pulled? It would be so much easier to navigate through airplane's aisle! Thule team please update Subterra line!
