Description

Evolution MidZero Tight

With the swift approach of dipping temperatures, frosty roads, and icy canyons, most of us cyclists begin mourning summer like a dear friend departed. Some of us turn to winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, or curling up in a ball with their favorite book and a glass of eggnog; but others don't let winter stop us from enjoying our favorite sport. Instead, these brave souls don burly winter gear like Sugoi's Evolution MidZero Tights for women, and hit the pavement with just as much vigor as summer.

Enjoying vivid winter sunsets by bike is easy when you have the soft warmth of MidZero fabric bracing your legs from a frosty chill, and it does an amazing job at it, with a cozy brushed lining that embraces your gams, and smooth exterior that slices through the wind like a machete. With MidZero's naturally wicking properties, you'll stay warm and dry into conditions around 35 degrees Fahrenheit, a temperature at which many friends may choose to skip the ride for a day on the trainer or on the couch with a mug of tea. While you can find bibs and tights out there to keep you warmer when the temperatures really plummet, these will keep you cozy at a much more pocket friendly spot, filling the cold weather spot in your closet well.

Perhaps one of the most important features in the fabric construction is the addition of Zap to the back of the calves. Winter days are notoriously short and grey, and in dismal lighting, boosting reflectivity to cars can be critical. Zap makes up the back of calf panel to illuminate triumphantly under the glare of headlights, and in the ever moving location of the back of your calf it lends its self to an immense boost in your visibility to distracted motorists.

To add to your comfort, the tights are constructed with flatlock seams to stay in place and alleviate abrasion from long tough rides. These seams curve around your kneecap, rather than the center of your thigh, moving away from more sensitive skin that rubs against your saddle to avoid that ever uncomfortable inner-thigh rash. Keeping things secure down low, you've got elastic leg grippers that hold your leg in place without cutting in, and side zips for easy on and off with burly winter cycling boots.

You'll find comfort from beneath your sit bones with Sugoi's RC Pro chamois for women. With 4-way stretch panels that mold to your body's contours, 15mm high density foam that tapers off as it moves to less sensitive spots, and a V-notch for ventilation and flexibility, your sensitive skin and tissue will thank you. Moisture is wicked away with ease, thanks to perforation within the foam, and a welded center channel relieves pressure where needed.

  • Warm tights to keep you training after Jack Frost visits
  • MidZero fabric offers stretch and warmth
  • Moisture wicking properties keep you dry
  • Zap reflective accents illuminate under headlights
  • Flatlock seams alleviate chaffing
  • RC Pro chamois supports your sit bones for long rides into winter sunsets

OVERALL: The best money I've spent on biking shorts. They are so good, I am a forever fan; I even ordered 2 pairs of SUGOi shorts with the RC Pro chamois. They are seamlessly flattering: not creating sausage rolls. WARM: These pants kept me warm - so warm I didn't need my jacket. They kept the wind out and maintained my body heat. COMFORT: I thought comfort wasn't possible until I experienced RC Pro chamois. I bike from 30 to 50 miles five days a week. Using these pants with the RC Pro chamois is the first time I didn't have discomfort or chaffing. I understand SUGOi has two chamois brands higher in quality then these, but this level is outstanding. They felt comfortable as I biked, without bulky material in pinch point areas where you bend. And they stretched to your form: not creating rolls of your fluff and not compressing it to death. SIZE: They are true to size. I am 5'7" and weigh 175 lbs and very shapely (big butt and thighs) and my size is between a med and a large. I got the mediums and they fit: they just came over all that jazz but they snuggly & comfortably fit. They would fit even better for someone with a lighter weight and less curves.
