One-by drivetrains appear to be the way of the future, and SRAM is leading the way with its revolutionary one-by 12-speed Eagle drivetrains. Featuring an upgraded tooth shape and hollow construction, the SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-Speed GXP Direct Mount Boost Crankset bumps the chainline out three millimeters to pair with your shiny new Boost-equipped frameset for impeccable chain control, efficient power transfer, and a gleam of golden flair.

Eagle's X-Sync 2 chainring builds on the OG X-Sync chainring's renowned chain retention ability, with a few changes and claims of even better chain control. As with the original, each tooth is CNC-machined to support the chain's inner- and outer-link widths by providing a variable thickness from tooth to tooth, so the chain and chainring essentially lock together and push away mud with ease. Where the original X-Sync teeth took on a boxy shape, Eagle's chainring features aggressively profiled teeth that hold the chain like a wild-eyed kitten clinging to a catnip-soaked mouse toy before letting it glide seamlessly back to the cassette for smooth, friction-free turns.

SRAM fashions the XX1 Eagle crank arms using its Carbon Tuned technology, which utilizes a proprietary carbon layup that increases stiffness where it's needed and minimizes unnecessary material for an overall reduction in weight. Their hollow construction results in a lightweight and responsive platform that'll see you dancing on the pedals as you pour watts into the trail. The direct-mount chainring interface also affords the option of quickly swapping ring sizes to adapt to the day's terrain shape, giving the true all-mountain racer the start-line flexibility to adapt to the day's course.

  • SRAM sets the standard for one-by with its groundbreaking 12-speed drivetrain
  • Hollow arm construction reduces weight
  • Stiff carbon layup efficiently transfers power
  • Aggressively shaped teeth lock the chain in line
  • Centerlock chainring interface allows easy gear swaps
  • Gold accents add a touch of bling

DZero Spider compatible?

Is this crankset pf92 compatible? Also, other options for 1x12?

Hi, yes this is- you will just need to use the corret BB. Item #SRM0334 will do the trick.

Literally A MUST HAVE!!!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Eagle has made 1x possible for any rider. This crank though is amazing. It has hollow crank arms making it one of the lightest cranks on the market without sacrificing any stiffness. Look no further to save some weight on your bike!

Eagle 12speed is not what I would call a game changer, but more of an evolution from the original 11speed 1x system from SRAM. The broader gear range that includes the 50t ring in the rear allows me to run a larger ring up front and still have a big bailout gear. The new XX1 crank is light and very stiff, a perfect upgrade to shed some weight.
