Sawtooth 2Bliss Tire

Adventure riders, rejoice, the Sawtooth 2Bliss Tire is ready for action. Developed to handle any road surface it rolls over, Endurant casing gives it puncture-resistant protection that's tough enough for long rides and exploration purposes. Specialized's very own GRIPTON compound handles well on both wet and dry surfaces, while the center tread is reinforced for high mileage trips.

  • Clock long miles in the saddle with this durable road tire
  • Puncture-resistant casing prevents flats and repairs
  • 120 TPI is light and fast without sacrifising too much durability
  • Durable compound holds traction in both dry and wet conditions
  • Butyl wrapped bead makes this tire tubeless ready

Great for dry gravel/ avoid mud

I've put it through the wringer
True to size

700x38mm true to size on a 21.5mm ID rim, great grip on dry gravel roads, works fine on more rough stuff as well, even wet rocky paths if needed, very puncture proof, makes a great rear tire, on the heavy side, sweet spot appears to be 32-40 psi depending on personal preferences. If you are not after the lightest but after a dependable tire this one ticks off a lot of boxes, one can also race on it as well, I also got the 42mm version on sale but haven't used it yet. Usually Specialized is full of marketing crap but some of the their tires are really good.

I ride gravel year round in Michigan, this tire grips on snow packed roads like it studded, roll good, great looking too.. great price, good mileage too.. I'm on my 3rd set... on my Specialized Sequoia light touring bike I use for Gravel.. I got almost 30 mph down the hill below.. no falls in thousands of miles, not good on ice, snow pack no problem.

Great review! Thank you! Would this be good for dry gravel in Colorado mountains--what do you think?

I want to put a new tire on my gravel bike to ride most on tarmac roads. Between the sawtooth and the pathfinder, with one is faster to be used on tarmac road?
