Why We Like The Commuter II Fenders
When riding wet roads we're happy to have the SKS Commuter II Fenders to keep tire spray from mucking up our clothing and vision. These fenders come in either black or stainless color options and include the hardware for mounting to our bicycle's fender mounts. Our website's drop-down menu shows the wheel size options, with the second number representing the maximum compatible tire width.

Not bad for $35 but definitely "cheap"
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
So first off mine shipped with a very important part missing: it had seven of the required eight strut bolts. Honestly it should ship with mine in case you lose one but mine was missing one in the package. While the front fender has a stainless steel bridge plate, the rear's is plastic and it snapped during installation. I don't think it's super necessary though because the chain stay bolt and two struts provide three pints of support. Still, it looks cheap and it broke! The stainless steel plate itself is also annoying because it makes installing to a vertical ("hidden") fender mount very difficult: it's only meant for a horizontal bridge installation. The plates that hold the strut attachments on the fenders themselves are poorly fit and bend easily, severely reducing the tire clearance at those points. Finally, the front and back of the fenders look like they were simply cut. You can see the sheathed aluminum sandwich. Rather bad look if you ask me. But they were $35 and went on in a few hours by a home mechanic so idk I guess we'll see how they work.

Ad said fenders were stainless steel
- I've used it several times
The ad said fender material was stainless steel when in actuality they were plastic......
