Neoprene is well known for its use in wetsuits, where trapping a thin layer of water between the skin and surface results in thoroughly regulated core temperature. But, did you know that even dry neoprene excels at defeating the cold? Accordingly, Santini gloves were constructed from a layer of thermo-welded neoprene. Neoprene contains gas cells that help to create an impenetrable layer that keeps cold air out. As a result, your hands stay warm. And as an added benefit, if you do get caught in a deluge, the neoprene will still function as effectively as if it were a wetsuit. Either way, wet or dry, you'll be warm.
Additionally, Santini's Neoprene Winter gloves feature an insulating inner-padding that not only adds a layer of warmth, but it also creates a comfortable hand-to-handlebar interface. Textured grip has also been added to the palm and fingers in order to ensure that your hold on the bars remains secure at all times.
The gloves' pull-on cuffs create a streamlined fit, and a wide hook-and-loop closure adjusts for the perfect width. Santini cut the pattern to eliminate seaming between the thumb and forefinger, which means that your hand won't chafe when you're riding on the hoods.
The Santini Neoprene Winter Gloves are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.
