Rotor's claimed compatibility is wrong
Leaving aside Campagnolo, there are two iterations of 30MM crank spindle: BB30/PF30 and BB386EVO. Rotor's factory site claims that this BB will work with either one and that is a significant claim if you happen to have an Italian threaded shell. Unfortunately, FSA BB386EVO carbon cranks (SL-K) bind badly with these cups apparently due to internal tolerance and the width as well. A call to the FSA techs at HQ confirmed same: There is NO FSA BB or any other BB known to be both ITALIAN threaded AND compatible with the FSA carbon 386EVO crank. (FSA does make one for the alloy Gossamer crank.) Using a 30MM crank other than the FSA 386EVO may be fine. Edit 1 May 2018: After some further discovery - this is for you Jorge, FSA part 200 -0016000020 is their Italian threaded BB386 MEGAEVO BB. (Check Ebay.) FSA's tech reps claim that this part only works with the Gossamer model and NOT with any of the carbon cranks. I found it does work perfectly fine on my Pinarello provided the wave-spring washer is left off. That spring, when combined with the additional width of an Italian shell, causes excessive friction. There is just the right amount of spindle there minus the spring washer and the crank spins fine. Also, be sure the screw attaching your BB cable guide is not protruding far enough into the shell interior to touch that spindle. Recall, the difference between that 30MM spindle and the shell ID is about 5MM total. (2.5MM all around) Hope that helps Jorge.

Hi Joe, I am very interested in your review. I have a Pinarello Dogma 65.1 with a FSA SL-K Light crankset. I am using this Rotor BB and even though "it works" the performance is far from optimal. When one spin the cranks it feels rough and sticky. I wonder if you have come across an alternative solution to this set up? Thanks for your help Jorge

Appreciate the help Joe! I have been doing some digging myself and few companies claim to offer solutions: CeramicSpeed and Kogel being a couple of them just to name a few. Thanks again, really appreciate the help! Jorge
