Designed to be the simplest, stiffest, and lightest interface between Race Face cranks, the Cinch-compatible Narrow Wide Cinch Direct Mount Chainring works with 9-, 10-, and 11-speed drivetrains. Of all the recent advancements in mountain biking, e.g., fat bikes, 27.5in wheels, carbon everything, and clutch technology in derailleurs, quite possibly the biggest progression is the Narrow Wide tooth profile found on the Narrow Wide Cinch Direct Mount Chainring .
This design helps to retain the chain by preventing jump, which is due to a tighter interface between inner and outer links. Now there's no need for heavy guides, and with the large-ratio spread of modern cassettes and 26- through 36-tooth Narrow Wide Cinch Direct Mount Chainring options from Race Face, you can kiss redundant double and triple cranksets goodbye. The proprietary Cinch spline found on the Narrow Wide Cinch Direct Mount Chainring uses a standard Park BBT-22 bottom bracket tool for installation.
This design eliminates the weakness of four-bolt interfaces, and its 7075-T6, 4mm-thick, aerospace-grade aluminum transfers pedal loads without flexing. The Race Face Narrow Wide Cinch Direct Mount Chainring is only compatible with Cinch cranks, comes in 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, and 36t options, and it works with 9-, 10-, and 11-speed drivetrains.
