When it comes to short-travel machines that maximize fun factor, the Trail 429 Pro X01 Eagle Carbon Wheel Mountain Bike immediately comes to mind. This Pro X01 build starts off with SRAM’s X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain which sets the standard for premium shifting components throughout the industry, offering a lightweight, reliable design. Reynolds Blacklabel carbon wheels provide instant acceleration and a responsive feel for picking apart the terrain at hand, plus they’re both lightweight and durable. Pivot even builds this frame with Superboost 12 x 157mm rear hub spacing, providing an ultra-stiff rear end that redistributes forces away from the wheel. SRAM G2 RSC brakes are paired with 180mm rotors for dependable stopping power, and grippy Maxxis tires keep us rolling quickly with great cornering traction.
