Built to carry your snacks, water, extra layers, and other basic necessities throughout the course of your dayhike or travels, the Skarab is designed with a framesheet suspension system that disperses the weight of your load across the entire pack while the BioStretch harness and integrated hipbelt reduces weight placed on your spine. The side compression straps help stabilize the load and the myriad of external and internal pockets accommodate on-the-go access to necessities like snacks, sunglasses, or a rain shell. Additionally, the trekking pole attachments are easy to use and make trekking through variegated territory a no-brainer. Not to mention, the Skarab 32 is equipped with a separate hydration compatible sleeve and the Hydraulics LT 2.5L reservoir is included with the pack.

How to Measure:
For best results, have someone take the measurement for you.
Torso:
Start at the iliac crest (the top of your hipbone that you can feel like a shelf on the side of your body). From this level on your spine, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down. Make sure to keep your back straight while having the measurement taken.
Hip:
Measure around your hips, at your iliac crest, not your waist.

This bag has every feature you could possibly want in a day hiking pack. It has zipped pockets at my hips, zipped side pockets for bottles/gear, quickly accessibly front stash pocket for gloves/beanie, large top organization pocket & a huge main storage. The shoulder straps are also extremely comfortable. I do wish that Osprey kept the whistle on the front as they used to. Never been in the situation where I've had to use it but felt nice as a safety addition. Still 5 stars.
