Disappointing design

Unfortunately this handheld just didn't work for me. Because of the design and the way the strap tightens the entire handheld portion kept detaching from the bottle and slipping off mid run. I've been using prior Nathan Handhelds for years and unfortunately with the new design and the tightening under the bottle it doesn't work for my small hands.

Not for me-frustrating holster and flow

Another frustrating product from Nathan. The grip/holster-slid off mid run due to the Rube Goldberg like strap. Now if you happen to secure this bottle in place great! Cause you’ll need the grip strength of Atlas to squeeze hydration from the bottle through the top. Don’t have the grip strength and think you’ll suck the liquid out-good luck! You’re more likely to suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

No water!

I bought this bottle for my 50-mile ultra. I have had very poor luck with Nathan's hydration equipment, and this one was no different. During the race, I could not get water to flow properly. I had to remove the spout in order to drink from it. Very upset about this purchase. Luckily, I still was able to win my race!

Terrible design

Very disappointed in this product! I have the 18 oz insulated speed draw plus but I wanted a higher capacity due to 100 degree weather. This bottle was hard to hold because there is no place for the thumb. The place where you put your hand (strap area) is very loose. The design is terrible and there’s no way to tighten it for a snug fit. I had to hold the bottle which defeats the purpose. Also, it’s very hard to get squeeze water out of it. I ended up having to remove the entire top to drink water from the bottle.

Need to revert to previous design

The strap rig that holds this together is just not fit for purpose. It is too squirrelly and can be really hard to handle in sweaty circumstances

Sasquatch buys nathan.

Handle is made for sasquatch's hand and you can't get the water to pass through the mouth piece unless sasquatch squeezed it until it broke, and then he through it in the trash cause this product sucks.

Terrible Product

I have a couple other Nathan Handheld bottle products that work perfect, however this Nathan product is terrible. The strap doesn't fit to the bottle and it comes right off if you even try to remotely tighten. I had to squeeze on to the bottle the entire time (defeating the entire purpose of the product). On top of this, it's nearly impossible to get water out of the nozzle efficiently. I don't understand how this was even approved - the other handhelds I have do exactly as they say. This one is unusable.

Comfortable to hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ideal handheld size for carrying hydration on a short to medium length run. Comfortable to hold with an easy to access pouch to hold gel pack and zipped area for keeping your ID with you. The only draw back is that it is a little harder than it should be to get liquid out of it. You get use to it, but it requires a little more effort than I wish it did.

Worst race bottle design

I bought this bottle at a race expo but have been sorely disappointed. I like that it is insulated and the design is sleek; however, the desing must not have been well-tested. First, the top elastic is too big and/or attached to far away to stay in place at the top of the bottle. Secondly, the bottle consistently falls out of the straps regardless of how loose/tight the strap is. Lastly, the shape of the bottle isn't ergonomic for holding while running.

Horrible design

The design of this thing is horrible. It’s way too loose and there is no way to tighten it enough without the strap coming off. I use my backwards.
