MichelinAirstop Cyclocross Tube
Item # MIC004V
Peace of mind.
With your tubulars tucked safely away for race day, the last thing you want to get in the way of a training ride is an ill-timed flat from lightweight tubes better suited for road hill climbs. With thicker rubber, the Michelin Airstop Cyclocross Tube weighs a little bit more than super lightweight liners but fends off flats and air loss so you can tackle cyclocross training and gravel rides with confidence.
- Spare tube to ensure your gravel or 'cross ride can carry on
- Fends off flats with bead-to-bead protection
- Available in two sizes to best fit your tires

Does what a tube is supposed to do
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
It's a tube, you can't see it work, but you know when it doesn't. I'm impressed w/them so far - did a gravel ride that I fully expected to get a pinch flat on, but no flat. Four thumbs up.

No more pinched tubes
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Kept getting pinched tubes here in Japan with all the ruff roads and decided to through these on my commuter. Guess what, no more pinch tubes. I will keep these on my commuter as I am not worried about rolling resistance.

Winter riding tubes
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've been using these Cross/Gravel tubes on 28mm tires for winter training. They are on the heavier side, but offer plenty of protection and peace of mind.

Just In Case.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I run tubeless on my CX/gravel bike, but always take this tube along in case. The width is perfect for what the tires I run and I like the peace of mind of fixing a flat if needed.

So far so good
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Slapped a couple of these in some 32mm knobbies on my Ridley cross/commuter bike to do some riding during a trip to Grand Teton NP area... from dirt/gravel campground roads to the paved trails through the park. They seemed to work out great!

Tubes for Commuter
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
A fine choice if your looking for a tube with a little extra toughness. They're "adequate for the job" but lack a removable valve core for those us that like to add a bit of Stan's for goat-head protection.

Does the job well
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
If you are aren't going with a tubeless set up, then a well made, proper width tube is essential. The Michelin Cross tube will do the trip for larger diameter road, cross and gravel tires.
